Fez

Description

Fez sits in northern Morocco and centres on Fes el-Bali, a walled medina recognised by UNESCO.

The tanneries — Chouara and its neighbours — are the working heart: dye pits, leather workers, colour and steam.

The streets are a maze: stone alleys, carved doors, tilework, markets that run late, light cutting across at odd angles.

These frames focus on the tanneries and the old town — craft, texture, and daily trade rather than set-piece monuments.
