Manufacturer description:
Upon hearing the origin name “Guji,” you would probably have known that the coffee will be somewhat special and high in quality. This coffee came from Oromia, Guji, Ethiopia. To enhance biodiversity and climate, indigenous trees, including Shoondhisa, are being planted. This creates a beneficial microclimate and enriches the soil, leading to higher-quality cherry production.

Skilled farmers carefully handpick the ripest cherries, ensuring only the finest make it to the washing station. After sorting, the cherries are spread out on raised beds to dry naturally in the sun for 21-28 days. Once dried to perfection, the coffee is transported to the dry mill for hulling, resting, and bagging before its journey to our roastery.

When we first tasted this coffee, our first impression was “what a transparent coffee!”. You will smell a soft Lavender in the wet & dry aroma, and then when you taste it, you can easily find the delightful combination of Lime acidity and more floral like Jasmine in the cup. Such a simple yet astounding coffee.
