Roaster description

This coffee comes from Hacienda Sonora, which sits in Costa Rica’s Central Valley, right at the base of the world-renowned Poás Volcano. The coffee thrives surrounded by exotic trees and lush vegetation, which creates perfect conditions for quality and enriches the naturally fertile volcanic soil. Producer Diego Guardia crafts these beans, capturing the unique and simple essence of Costa Rican coffee, promising a sensory experience unlike any other.

This Caturra is a Sonora favorite, consistently delivering an exceptional taste from harvest to harvest. After careful handpicking, the ripe cherries are dried on the farm’s raised beds or patio, turned regularly for even drying. Using a natural process powered by the Costa Rican sun, the beans develop a rich flavor profile, captivating your senses with vibrant acidity, a smooth body, and a lingering sweetness.

Indulge in the delicate sweetness of Blood Orange, the enchanting aroma of Cherry, and the subtle notes of Cocoa Nibs, creating a nuanced complexity that lingers on your palate. It’s an irresistible pleasure.
