Adventures in Analog – 2nd batch (Rolls 3 – 6)

After the euphoria of getting my first two rolls of film back…the second batch has been a massive anti-climax. I’d previously shot with the Contax T2 and Ricoh GR1v – two high end film compact cameras. The films were developed by Snappy Snaps in Soho and I was really happy with the results.

Since then i’d bought two 35mm film slrs – A Nikon FM3A and Pentax LX. I sent four rolls into Fuji Digital Imaging for developing via post, due in part to the significantly cheaper price (www.PhotoFilmProcessing.co.uk) – Three from the FM3a and LX, and one from the Contax T2. I only got one developed film back, taken on the Contax T2. I’m not clear what what happened with the SLR films..Whether i didn’t load them properly or something. All in all a bit of a huge let down…

EDIT: I’m a total wally – I wasn’t loading the film leader properly into the spool…. Please check out this you tube video if you’re a 35mm slr novice like me:

The best of the images from the Contax T2 are shown below. All shot with Kodak Porta 400.
